What You Should Know
While materials on this site are meant to be informative about Bridgeway Funds and to provide educational content, nothing on this site is meant as investment advice. Mutual fund purchases should be part of a larger financial plan, which includes analysis of financial needs, risk tolerance, values, and other factors.
Any views expressed on this site are exclusively those of the Advisers to Bridgeway Funds. Any favorable (or unfavorable) description of a security applies only as of the date of the holding period. Security positions can and do change thereafter.
When we mention a high-performing or promising stock in a letter to shareholders, we call it a “story stock.” Bridgeway will not sell shares of a company while it is highlighted as a story stock. We consider this stock a “buy” for at least one of our funds, although typically Bridgeway will have finished establishing a position in it. Once a document mentioning a story stock is moved into the “archive file,” the stock may or may not still be among our security holdings. Moving a story stock into the archive may have nothing to do with our current rating of the stock.
Bridgeway Funds’ past results are no guarantee of future returns. Prices fluctuate; fund shares when redeemed may be worth more or less than original cost. Please read the prospectus carefully before investing. The prospectus contains more detailed information on costs, risks, and investment objective.
